Student Tour Package SUNDAY: Start your day with a visit to the American Helicopter Museum and Education Center. Here you will find over 40 Exhibits that highlight past, present and future rotary wing aircraft and where you can climb aboard interactive helicopters. Next you will visit the QVC Studio’s where you will get a look at the worlds leading electronic retailers. After settling in at Holiday Inn West Chester for the night, you will enjoy an evening Dance Party complete with DJ, dancing and all the pizza and soda you can eat! MONDAY: After you have enjoyed a hot breakfast buffet at the hotel, it’s off to Philadelphia for the day. While in Philadelphia you can visit such historical sites as the Independence National Historical Park, the Liberty Bell Center, Independence Hall, Second Bank of the United States, Congress Hall, Carpenters’ Hall and other authentic landmarks that will tell the story of how we became a nation. Upon your return to Brandywine Valley, you will pay a visit to the Herr’s Snack Factory for the Tastiest Tour in Town! Take a guided tour of the factory and try warm potato chips right out of the cooker! Imagine the fun your group will have when they try to create their own flavored potato chips! Herr’s will provide the seasonings and potato chips; your group creates the flavors! Enjoy a pizza or hoagie dinner too! TUESDAY: This morning after breakfast and before heading home, you will visit the Valley Forge National Historical Park where you will take part in the “Riding Through History” tour. This two-hour program is designed to give you a hands-on-history lesson by getting you out into the part to see what the winter encampment was like for Washington and the soldiers of the Continental Army. $112.00 per person |
